Who it suits
The tourism board calls Los Cristianos peaceful and relaxing, and suits relaxed beach holidays and island-hoppers. It keeps a seaside character and is where most of Arona’s shopping and cultural life happens.
Beaches
- Playa de Los Cristianos (town beach): pale sand and calm water, with small fishing boats moored on the shore. Disabled access is listed. It is not on the 2026 Blue Flag list. Press reported in 2023 that it had been added that year, so it has since dropped off.
- Las Vistas: the Arona Blue Flag beach, at the Los Cristianos end of the resort strip.
Ferries
Fred. Olsen lists sailings from Los Cristianos to San Sebastián de La Gomera (about 50 minutes), Valverde on El Hierro (about 140 minutes) and Santa Cruz de La Palma (about 150 minutes). Check sailing times with the operator before you travel.
Getting there
Tenerife South airport is about 15 to 30 minutes by car via the TF-1. TITSA line 40 runs from the airport through Los Cristianos.
